John Nies (John Richard Nies) was born on February 13, 1964 in Jerse City, New Jersey. After going to high school at Ocean Township (NJ), Nies attended Nassau Community College and the University of Arizona. Nies made his professional debut in the NFL in 1990 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire 1 year career.
