John Mooring (John Mooring) was born on May 8, 1947 in Falfurrias, Texas. After going to high school at Falfurrias (TX), Mooring attended the University of Tampa. Mooring made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1972 was John Mooring's best year.
