Born on July 10, 1907 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, John Michaels (John Joseph Michaels) played for the Boston Red Sox for his entire 1 year career. Michaels broke into the bigs on April 16, 1932 with the Boston Red Sox, and put up a 5.13 ERA in 80.2 innings pitched in 1932, his rookie year.
