John Martinkovic

John Martinkovic (John George Martinkovic) was born on February 4, 1927 in Hamilton, Ohio. After going to high school at Catholic (Hamilton, OH), Martinkovic attended Xavier University. Martinkovic made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers and New York Giants over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1952 was John Martinkovic's best year, as he recovered 4 opponents fumbles and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
