John Magee (John Wesley Magee) was born on July 21, 1923 in Robstown, Texas. Magee attended Rice University and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Magee made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1948 was John Magee's best year.
