John Lohmeyer (John Carl Lohmeyer) was born on January 15, 1951 in Emporia, Kansas. After going to high school at Emporia (KS), Lohmeyer attended Emporia State University. Lohmeyer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1973 was John Lohmeyer's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
