John Koniszewski (John Edward Koniszewski) was born on August 29, 1921 in Dickson City, Pennsylvania. Koniszewski attended George Washington University. Koniszewski made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1948 was John Koniszewski's best year.
