John Kondrla (John Joseph Kondrla) was born on February 23, 1921 in Republic, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Georges Township (PA), Kondrla attended St. Vincent College. Kondrla made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
