John Janata (John Michael Janata) was born on April 10, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Bonanza (Las Vegas, NV), Janata attended Antelope Valley JC and the University of Illinois. Janata made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
