John Hunt (John Stephen Hunt) was born on November 6, 1962 in Orlando, Florida. After going to high school at Edgewater (Orlando, FL), Hunt attended the University of Florida. Hunt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 2 year career.
