John Houser (John Wesley Houser, Jr.) was born on June 21, 1935 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Boys Republic (Chino, CA), Houser attended the University of Redlands. Houser made his professional debut in the NFL in 1957 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1958 was John Houser's best year.
