John Houseman (John Franklin Houseman) was born on January 10, 1870 in Netherlands. He made his Major League debut on September 11, 1894 for the Chicago Colts. In 1897, his rookie year, he hit .245 with 0 home runs and 21 RBI. Houseman played for the Chicago Colts and St. Louis Perfectos over the course of his 2 year career.
