John Holecek (John Francis Holecek) was born on May 7, 1972 in Steger, Illinois. After going to high school at Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL), Holecek attended the University of Illinois. Holecek made his professional debut in the NFL in 1995 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Falcons and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1999 was John Holecek's best year.
