John Hennessy (John W. Hennessy) was born on March 12, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Gordon Tech (Chicago, IL), Hennessy attended the University of Michigan. Hennessy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1977 was John Hennessy's best year.
