John Hatley

John Hatley (Johnny Ray Hatley) was born on March 16, 1930 in Lometa, Texas. After going to high school at Uvalde (TX), Hatley attended Baylor University and Sul Ross State University. Hatley made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Chicago Bears. He played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Chicago Cardinals and Chicago Bears over the course of his 3 year NFL career.Hatley also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
Most people believe that 1954 was John Hatley's best year.
