Born on July 29, 1851 in Washington, D.C., John Greason (John A. Greason) played for the Washington Nationals for his entire 1 year career. Greason broke into the bigs on August 27, 1873 with the Washington Nationals, and put up a 5.43 ERA in 63 innings pitched in 1873, his rookie year.
