John Goodman (John Richard Goodman) was born on November 12, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After going to high school at L.V. Berkner (Richardson, TX), Goodman attended the University of Oklahoma. Goodman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1984 was John Goodman's best year.
