John Goode (John Timothy Goode) was born on November 5, 1962 in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. After going to high school at Benedictine (Cleveland, OH), Goode attended Youngstown State University. Goode made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1984 was John Goode's best year.
