John Gonzaga (John Louis Gonzaga) was born on March 6, 1933 in Martinez, California. After going to high school at Mount Diablo (Concord, CA), Gonzaga attended none. Gonzaga made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played in the NFL for 10 years, playing for the Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 10 year NFL career.Gonzaga also played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
Most people believe that 1959 was John Gonzaga's best year.
