John Gochnaur (John Peter Gochnaur) was born on September 12, 1875 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 29, 1901 for the Brooklyn Superbas. In 1902, his rookie year, he hit .185 with 0 home runs and 37 RBI. Gochnaur played for the Brooklyn Superbas, Cleveland Broncos and Cleveland Naps over the course of his 3 year career.
