John Gesek (John Christian Gesek, Jr.) was born on February 18, 1963 in San Francisco, California. After going to high school at Bellflower (CA) and San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA), Gesek attended California State University, Sacramento and Diablo Valley JC*. Gesek made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Los Angeles Raiders. He played for the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Raiders and Washington Redskins over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1992 was John Gesek's best year.
