John Ganzel

John Ganzel (John Henry Ganzel) was born on April 7, 1874 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on April 21, 1898 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1900, his rookie year, he hit .275 with 4 home runs and 32 RBI. Ganzel played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Orphans, New York Giants, New York Highlanders and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that John Ganzel's best season was 1907, when he knocked in 64 runs.
