John Ford (John Allen Ford) was born on July 31, 1966 in Belle Glade, Florida. After going to high school at Glade Central (Belle Glade, FL), Ford attended the University of Virginia. Ford made his professional debut in the NFL in 1989 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
