John Embree (John William Embree) was born on July 13, 1944 in St. Louis, Missouri. After going to high school at Centennial (Compton, CA), Embree attended Compton JC. Embree made his professional debut in the AFL in 1969 with the Denver Broncos. He played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time. Embree also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
Most people believe that 1969 was John Embree's best year, as he caught 5 TD passes.
