John Donaldson (John David Donaldson) was born on May 5, 1943 in Charlotte, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on August 26, 1966 for the Kansas City Athletics. In 1967, his rookie year, he hit .276 with 0 home runs and 28 RBI. Donaldson played for the Kansas City Athletics, Oakland Athletics and Seattle Pilots over the course of his 6 year career.
