John Deering

Born on June 25, 1878 in Lynn, Massachusetts, John Deering (John Thomas Deering) played for the New York Highlanders and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 1 year career. Deering broke into the bigs on May 12, 1903 with the New York Highlanders, and put up a 3.80 ERA in 120.2 innings pitched in 1903, his rookie year.
