John Morris (John Daniel Morris) was born on February 23, 1961 in North Bellmore, New York. He made his Major League debut on August 5, 1986 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1987, his rookie year, he hit .261 with 3 home runs and 23 RBI. Morris played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies and California Angels over the course of his 7 year career.
