Born on November 23, 1929 in St. Paul, Minnesota, John Anderson (John Charles Anderson) played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles, St. Louis Cardinals and Houston Colt .45s over the course of his 3 year career. Anderson broke into the bigs on August 17, 1958 with the Philadelphia Phillies.
