John Cenci (John Richard Cenci) was born on January 4, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Schenley (Pittsburgh, PA), Cenci attended the University of Pittsburgh. Cenci made his professional debut in the NFL in 1956 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
