John Castino (John Anthony Castino) was born on October 23, 1954 in Evanston, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 6, 1979 for the Minnesota Twins. In 1979, his rookie year, he hit .285 with 5 home runs and 52 RBI. Castino played for the Minnesota Twins for his entire 6 year career.

Most people believe that John Castino's best season was 1983, when he hit for a .277 average and knocked in 57 runs.
