John Butler (John Albert Butler) was born on July 26, 1879 in Boston, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on September 28, 1901 for the Milwaukee Brewers. Butler played for the Milwaukee Brewers, St. Louis Cardinals and Brooklyn Superbas over the course of his 4 year career.
