John Billman (John A. Billman) was born on December 1, 1919 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After going to high school at Central (Minneapolis, MN), Billman attended the University of Minnesota. Billman made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Chicago Rockets and Brooklyn Dodgers over the course of his 2 year career.
