John Ambrose (John Vincent Ambrose) was born on March 24, 1910 in Three Rivers, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Commerce (Boston, MA), Ambrose attended Catholic College. Ambrose made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 1 year career.
