John Adams (John Albert Adams) was born on November 28, 1937 in San Diego, California. After going to high school at Herbert Hoover (San Diego, CA), Adams attended Los Angeles State, Santa Monica College and the University of California - Los Angeles. Adams made his professional debut in the NFL in 1959 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was John Adams's best year.
