Johan Traded? I'm Back!

I have read somewhere that the Twins and Red Sox could potentially announce a trade today including Johan Santana. I have Finals to study for so I will not be monitoring this all day like I did at the Winter Meetings. I do however think it would be fitting for MLB to announce this on the same day that the Mitchell Report gets released. Both of these teams (mostly the Red Sox) could be hit hard. I’m not pointing fingers but David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez are pretty bulky (for Manny it might just be because he eats lots of food). A trade like this would be a great way for baseball to override the Mitchell Report. Even old players on steroids wouldn’t overshadow the best pitcher in baseball being traded, especially to the Yankees.
There are some other things MLB is trying to get done today. A-Rod’s $275 Million Contract was finalized. Miguel Tejada will be in Houston getting that new Astros Jersey, and possibly Santana will be traded.
Luckily, MLB knows they were in the wrong, and they are ready to put this to bed and move on.
FYI: The rumored Trade is Johan Santana for Jacoby Ellsbury, Jed Lowrie, Justin Masterson and Brandon Moss.
