Johan Completes Dominant June

Johan Santana pitched 7 shutout innings to lead his Minnesota Twins to their 7th straight victory, beating the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-3. Torii Hunter hit a grand-slam in the first inning, and Joe Mauer continued his hot hitting by going 2-3 to lead the Twins offense.

Santana finishes up his June with a 5-0 record in 6 starts, with a sparkling 1.05 ERA. He is 9-4 overall, with a 2.59 ERA and a ML-Best 124 K's in 17 starts.

When that guy gets hot there is absolutely no stopping him. The worst part (for the other teams) is that even when he's cold he's a damned good pitcher.
