Joel Parker (Joseph Lee Parker) was born on May 23, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky. After going to high school at Clearwater (FL), Parker attended the University of Florida. Parker made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1974 was Joel Parker's best year, as he hauled in 41 receptions and caught 4 TD passes.
