Joe Zombek (Joseph A. Zombek) was born on December 24, 1932. After going to high school at Scott Township (PA), Zombek attended the University of Pittsburgh. Zombek made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 2 year career.
