Joe Zeller (Joseph Thomas Zeller) was born on May 2, 1908 in East Chicago, Indiana. After going to high school at East Chicago (IN), Zeller attended Indiana University. Zeller made his professional debut in the NFL in 1932 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1933 was Joe Zeller's best year.
