Joe Weir (Joseph Weir) was born on August 26, 1905 in Superior, Wisconsin. Weir attended the University of Nebraska. Weir made his professional debut in the NFL in 1927 with the Frankford Yellow Jackets. He played for the Frankford Yellow Jackets for his entire 1 year career.
