Joe Vosmik

Joe Vosmik (Joseph Franklin Vosmik) was born on April 4, 1910 in Cleveland, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on September 13, 1930 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1931, his rookie year, he hit .320 with 7 home runs and 117 RBI. Vosmik played for the Cleveland Indians, St. Louis Browns, Boston Red Sox, Brooklyn Dodgers and Washington Senators over the course of his 13 year career.
Most people believe that Joe Vosmik's best season was 1935, when he hit for a .348 average and knocked in 110 runs.
