Joe Vodicka (Joseph J. Vodicka) was born on March 4, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Lane Tech (Chicago, IL), Vodicka attended none. Vodicka made his professional debut in the NFL in 1943 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 2 year career.
