Joe Verbanic

Born on April 24, 1943 in Washington, Pennsylvania, Joe Verbanic (Joseph Michael Verbanic) played for the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Yankees over the course of his 4 year career. Verbanic broke into the bigs on July 22, 1966 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 2.80 ERA in 80.1 innings pitched in 1967, his rookie year.
There is some disagreement on what was Joe Verbanic's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1968, when he posted a 3.15 ERA. However, others believe that it was 1967, when he posted a 2.80 ERA.
