On June 9th, I was watching the replay of the whipping of Arturo Gatti against Floyd Mayweather. The fight was on ESPN, and instead of using the HBO commentators, they used some recorded commentary with Joe Tessitore and Joe Mesi. So at the 3rd or 4th round, Tessitore tells us this.....
"Floyd Mayweather is the nephew of Roger Mayweather, his uncle."- Joe Tessitore
Now believe it or not, if Floyd is the nephew of Roger, we already know that Roger's the uncle! That's almost the same thing as saying that a guy is a homosexual, and is married to a man. But just to fill air time, Tessitore brilliantly points out the obvious. On the other hand, I could be listening to Jim Lampley, who has found a way to butcher the English language with words like "tireder".
