Joe Tereshinski (Joseph Peter Tereshinski) was born on December 7, 1923 in Glen Lyon, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Newport Township (PA), Tereshinski attended the University of Georgia. Tereshinski made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1951 was Joe Tereshinski's best year.
