Joe Stephenson (Joseph Chester Stephenson) was born on June 30, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on September 19, 1943 for the New York Giants. Stephenson played for the New York Giants, Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 3 year career.
