Joe Shearin (Joseph Leslie Shearin) was born on April 16, 1960 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at Woodrow Wilson (Dallas, TX), Shearin attended the University of Texas. Shearin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 4 year career.
