Joe Rizzo (Joseph Vincent Rizzo) was born on December 17, 1950 in New York, New York. After going to high school at Glen Cove (NY), Rizzo attended United States Merchant Marine Academy. Rizzo made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1977 was Joe Rizzo's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
