Joe Riggert

Joe Riggert (Joseph Aloysius Riggert) was born on December 11, 1886 in Janesville, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on May 12, 1911 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1911, his rookie year, he hit .212 with 2 home runs and 13 RBI. Riggert played for the Boston Red Sox, St. Louis Cardinals, Brooklyn Superbas and Boston Braves over the course of his 3 year career.
