Joe Pilconis (Joseph George Pilconis) was born on October 9, 1911 in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Shenandoah (PA), Pilconis attended Temple University. Pilconis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1934 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1937 was Joe Pilconis's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
